Filipino, Philippines “Dancing Inmates” from Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), a maximum security prison, were treated to a visit by Michael Jacksons long-time choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid to learn performances from THIS IS IT.
Ummm…. what’s it say at the very beginning in the bottom-left corner? “CPDRC MAXIMUM SECURITY PENITENTIARY”
This was so cool! I loved loved loved the peace symbol!! =)

MJ WOULD be touched that these people have put so much effort into recreating his dance. In fact, as said on the video description, he was there to help teach them.
Just because they are in prison does not mean they are not human., and to set aside differences and put that much passion and effort into that dance, makes them wonderful.

yes they are americans, the one in front is Michael Jackson’s choreographer. but sadly there’s a news that the inmates wont be dancing anymore because the Governor of cebu has put a stop to this because there’s an alleged issue of missing donations. (from foreigners for the prisoners)
@multivector: I think the decision made by the Governor is politically motivated. She is jealous of the attention and fame the inmates are getting. The current governor is the primary wife of the controversial Winston Garcia who broke the hearts of many GSIS beneficiaries. She also has some shady stories in Cebu. If she really wanted to help, she should not prevent the inmates from doing their passion.
